The Quentin D. Rissler Memorial Scholarship:

The Susquehanna Chapter, Harrisburg Section of ABCD is pleased to announce that applications for the 2026 Quentin D. Rissler Memorial Scholarship Program are now being reviewed!

This scholarship opportunity is offered to students who are considering a career in bridge engineering. The scholarship amount is $3,000.00 and is awarded in the spring of each year at the annual ABCD Awards Banquet held in the Harrisburg, PA area. Scholarship applications are available below.

The scholarship will be awarded at the 2026 ABCD Awards and Scholarship Banquet on Thursday, May 14th, 2026.

Scholarship Application

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. The applicant must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in an ABET-accredited (or ABET-accreditation pending) civil engineering or civil engineering technology curriculum.

  2. The applicant must have completed at least their sophomore year.

  3. The applicant must have a permanent residence in Pennsylvania.
