Scholarships

The Quentin D. Rissler Memorial Scholarship:

Please check back in Fall of 2026 for more information regarding the scholarship application for The Susquehanna Chapter, Harrisburg Section of ABCD Quentin D. Rissler Memorial Scholarship Program.

This scholarship opportunity is offered to students who are considering a career in bridge engineering. The scholarship amount is $3,000.00 and is awarded in the spring of each year at the annual ABCD Awards Banquet held in the Harrisburg, PA area. 

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. The applicant must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in an ABET-accredited (or ABET-accreditation pending) civil engineering or civil engineering technology curriculum.

  2. The applicant must have completed at least their sophomore year.

  3. The applicant must have a permanent residence in Pennsylvania.
